Braden Scott Commits to Murray State

Sophomore Left Handed Pitcher Braden Scott has decided to continue his baseball career next season at Murray State University.  Braden finished a terrific freshman season with the Blue Knights last year by going 8-1 in 10 starts.  His 1.23 ERA was good for 2nd best in all of NJCAA Division 1 among qualified pitchers and also ranked 4th best all time in a single season at OCC.  Scott showed great control in only walking 12 batters all season in 66 innings pitched to go along with 65 K's.

Braden is the first Blue Knight to commit to a 4 year school so far and has chosen a great program in Murray State.  The Racers are a NCAA D-1 program that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference.  He will join a list of many recent OCC alumni that finished their college at MSU.  Ryan Dills (2016-17), Matt McGowan (2014-15), and Kollin Dowdy (2014-2015) all played big roles for the Racers in years past.
