Jordan Cozart Commits to Murray State

Just 24 hours after teammate Braden Scott accepted an offer from Murray State, fellow sophomore Jordan Cozart decided that he would finish his college career with the Racers as well.  Cozart had a fantastic freshman season at OCC both on the mound and at the plate.  As the everyday starting 2B he hit .390 to go along with 2 HR, 9 doubles, and 4 triples.  He managed to knock in 32 runs which tied for 2nd on the team.

On the mound Cozart had a 2.25 ERA in 12 innings pitched while collecting 2 saves for the Knights.  This past summer for the Dubois County Bombers he led the entire Ohio Valley League with a 0.33 ERA in 27.1 innings pitched while also getting the win in the championship clinching game.
