OCC sophomores Lane Kirkland and Payton Mattingly have both made decisions on where they will continue their baseball careers next year. Lane will join fellow Blue Knights Ian Ellis and Cameron Chapman at Kentucky Wesleyan College while Payton will be playing at Asbury University.
Both Lane and Payton have enjoyed great starts this season thus far and have been important pieces to OCC's success as we near the halfway point of the spring. As the starting 2B and 3B respectively, they have combined for over 50 hits and 10 doubles between them so far on the year.
