Joey Drury will continue his career at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Panthers compete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Drury will be the first Blue Knight to play at Davenport.
As a freshman, Drury was a key piece out of the bullpen and was used in a closer role most of the time, leading the team with 3 saves. He posted a 3-0 record with a 2.96 ERA. Drury tossed 24.1 innings while only walking 5 batters. As a sophomore, Joey will be used as a starter and be an important part of the rotation.
Drury is from Greenwood, Indiana and attended Center Grove High School.
