Pitcher Jake Hansen will continue next fall at Purdue University Northwest. The Pride compete in the D2 GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). Jake will be the first Blue Knight to play at Purdue Northwest. As a freshman, Hansen was used out of the bullpen. This fall, he was the most improved sophomore pitcher while posting a 3.14 era and striking out 10.7 per 9 innings. Hansen will continue to work and should have a big role with this pitching staff as a starter and out of the bullpen. Jake is from Owensboro, KY and attended Daviess County High School.
