Brayden Childress has committed to play at SIU Carbondale next fall. The Salukis compete in the Missouri Valley Conference. Brayden will be the fourth Blue knight to play at Southern Illinois.

As a Freshman, Brayden Started 11 games going 7-2. He pitched 3 complete games and also recorded a save. Childress led the team in wins and 2nd in innings pitched. The pitching staff with count on him to make conference starts again this season.

Brayden is from Robinson, IL and attended Robinson High School.
