Noah Gordon on Olney Central: "I chose Olney because it seemed like the best fit.  After my game at Bosse High School, Coach Casey came up to me and we had a talk and I saw his interest right away. As the season went on I kepting thinking and thinking if anything was going to happen after COVID hit.  It made it hard for 2021 players to get offers.  Then after the season ended I was playing AAU ball and kept getting interest, but never got an official Division 1 offer.  Coach Casey was always just patient with me and knew what I had and what I could do, but he always kept in contact with me so I felt like I was wanted a lot.  I was always told by my parents and peers to go where you're wanted and I just felt like it was the best opportunity to show people that I'm going to be great."

Mt. Vernon High School Head Coach Joe Newcomb on Gordon: "Noah is a hard working kid who loves the game of basketball.  He is a tireless worker who wants to continue to improve and seeks to push others to do the same.  I am excited to watch his game continue to grow and am excited about the opportunity he has at Olney."

Olney Central Head Coach Casey Wyllie on Gordon: "We were very patient with Noah throughout his whole recruiting process, because it was a big decision for him and his family.  We are very excited that Noah chose Olney Central to continue his basketball career.  Noah's ability to play inside out and score in a variety of ways was very intriguing to us.  Noah has a good frame at 6'7-235 pounds and is very mobile.  He can defend multiple positions and can really run the floor.  We cannot wait to get to work with Noah."
