Sophomore catcher Lauren Baker has committed to Cincinnati Christian University to further her academic and athletic career. Lauren is a native of Hamilton, OH and attended Talawanda High School. As a freshman she hit .286 with 3 doubles in helping the Lady Knights to a 30-win season. She has taken on a leadership role this spring where she is currently hitting .273 for a 13-6 Lady Knight team.
CCU is an NAIA institution that plays in the River States Conference. There are currently 12-9 on their season and are coming off of 25-21 season a year ago.
