The Lady Knights have released their fall schedule, which includes eight games against NCAA DI opponents. The fall scrimmage season will kick off at Rend Lake on August 31, with times and opponents to be determined. The following Saturday will take the Lady Knights to Wabash Valley for the IECC Play Day, with a single game against the host school followed by a game against Lincoln Trail.
The only home date of the fall will be September 14 when the Indiana Thunder come to town for a double header.
The remaining dates for the fall will be on the road at NCAA DI schools. They are at IUPUI September 21, University of Evansville September 28, Butler University October 6 and Southeast Missouri State on October 11.
The softball team has 13 new faces for this year, including 12 freshmen and one transfer player. Nine sophomores return from last years squad that finished 4th in the region.
