After trading three point baskets in the first 2 minutes of the game, Owens then went on a 19-0 run in the next few minutes extending a 22-3 lead in the first quarter.  After one frame the Express lead OCC 24-7.  The Lady Knights tried, but Owens never allowed a recovery.  Extending the lead to 45-19 at the half.  The Express had 3 scores in double figures led by 20 from Tatyana Reynolds, 17 from Jeryn Reese, and 14 from Aysah Ingram.

The Express used their size and speed to keep the Lady Knights uncomfortable all afternoon.  OCC was forced into 25 turnovers and a dreadful 18 percent from behind the line.  Olney was led in scoring by Weslee Wilson and Kelsi Scott who both had 8.  Dyanna Freeman, Jaycie Luna, and Hannah Resler all added 7 each.  

The Lady Knights will begin District play on Wednesday, November 18th, as they play host to the Trailblazers of Vincennes University.  The Trailblazers went 2-0 in the Sodexho Classic this weekend beating Owens 59-50 and coming from behind in the fourth quarter to beat Malcolm X 61-55.
