Lady Knights put up a great fight at VU on Saturday night. OCC was led by Kelsi Scott and her 24 points to go along with 19 points from Sophomore Alicia Hasler. OCC came back from 11 point half time deficit and held VU to 3 points in the 3rd quarter to take a 2 point lead heading into the final stanza. The game was back and forth in the entire 4th quarter, but Marley Miller put the nail in the coffin with a 18 foot jumper from the corner to take the 2 point lead with 3 seconds to go. A half court attempt by Kelsi Scott was off the mark and the Lady Knights fell to 10 and 10 on the season and 6 and 4 in District P play. OCC is back on the road at Rend Lake College on Wednesday night. Lady Knights tip at 5:30 the Blue Knights will follow at approximately 7:30 PM CST.
