Cold shooting in Centralia on Friday night spelled doom for the Lady Knights. OCC shot 25 percent from the field and 56 percent from the line. Kelsi Scott led Olney with 13 points and added 8 rebounds. Hannah Resler chipped in 10 points in the loss despite some foul trouble. Andresha Smith led the Lady Knights with a season high 13 rebounds taking her season total to 200.
With the loss Olney dropped to 5th place in District P and will travel to Kaskaskia again on Tuesday, March 1st for their quarterfinal matchup with the Blue Angels. OCC has advanced to the Semi-Fianals in 3 of Coach Burris's first five seasons. The game will begin at 6:30 CST.
