OCC started game down 2-0, then they followed that with an 18-0 lead. The Lady Knights never trailed again and went on to a 78-62 victory. The Lady Knights were led by 22 points from RS Freshman Mallory Smith. Kelsi Scott added 16 points and 14 rebounds. Despite foul trouble Freshman Kayla Sanford ended the game with 13 points to go with 6 rebounds 3 assists and 3 steals.
With the win the Lady Knights improve to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in GRAC and District play. The Lady Knights will be on the road playing in the Vincennes University Sodexho Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Games will both be at 12:00 CST at the P.E. Complex on the campus of Vincennes University. OCC will play Indiana Tech on Saturday and Olive Harvey on Sunday.
