Kayla Sanford moves into 2nd on all-time 3-Pointers made list

With her two three pointers made on Saturday in the loss to Vincennes, Kayla Sanford passed Kelsee Ennis on the All-Time Lady Knight career 3-point list.  Kelsee was a member of the 2011-12 Lady Knight team who finsihed runners-up in the Region 24 tournament.  Kelsee made 122 career threes including 70 her sophomore year.

Kayla is also second on the list for most in a season behind Shelbi Samsils 112 in her sophomore campaign. Kayla hit 97 threes as a freshman last year and currently sits at 27 this season.

Shelbi, Kayla, and Kelsee are three of the only 4 players known to make 100 career three pointers for the Lady Knights. The previous recorded record before Kelsee was set by Traci Roberts.

Kayla is 42 threes away from tying Shelbi's record with 19 games remaining in the season!
