Lady Knights pick up road win in Greenville

The Lady Knights got off to a slow start Tuesday evening in Greenville, but warmed up in the second quarter in route to a 26 point road win. OCC knocked down 13 threes and used a 27 point second and 24 point third quarters to pick up their 8th win of the season. 
The Lady Knights were placed four players in double figures led by Kayla Sanford's 18 points on 6-10 shooting behind the arc. Mallory Smith(14 points and 8 rebounds) and Allie Murphy(13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists) both knocked down three 3-pointers also in the win. Brenna Maikranz also reached double figures adding 10 points.Alisha Steward added 8 points and Nailah Ray also added 5. Haley Baxter led the team with 7 of the teams 22 assists. 
OCC finishes up their first semester schedule on the road in Harrisburg, Illinois as the take on the Lady Falcons of Southeastern Illinois College. The Falcons are 5-7 overall but currently are in a 2 way tie with OCC for third place in the GRAC standings with both teams sitting at 3-1. The women's contest will tip at 1:00 CST and the mens game will follow approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game.
