Prior to OCC: Carson averaged 15.3 points and 6.7 rebounds as a senior at Nation Ford. He shot 47% from the floor including 38% from long range. He was named to the All-Region 3 team.

Coach Burris on Carson: "Carson is a high character kid from a great family. We really feel Carson has a chance to be a player for us. He just turned 18 years old in mid July so we think he will still grow and fill out some more. He can shoot the basketball and knows how to play."
