Men Look to Rebound at Home

The OCC men have dropped 5 out of 6 games, and look to turn that trend around when they host Shawnee on Wednesday night. The Blue Knights are young, but Coach Burris will tell you that at this point in the year, no one is a freshman anymore.

After losing the championship game at Highland Community College to the host school 95-92, OCC came home only to drop a tough game against Logan 103-99 in overtime. They rebounded with a win against a good Rend Lake team on the road 94-93. Then came a stretch of three tough losses: at Lewis and Clark 91-85, home against Lake Land 88-70, and last night at Lincoln Trail 116-107.

The good thing in conference basketball is the quick turn-around, which the Knights (10-7, 3-4) plan to do tomorrow at the Dungeon!
