Lady Knight sophomore Ally O'Dell (Charleston, IL) has verbally committed to continue her education and softball career at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY upon completion of her spring season.  O'Dell was the Great Rivers Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2018, and tied for the most votes for Player of the Year in the conference. The shortstop set school single-season records for homeruns (16) and RBI (81) while hitting .432 and adding 20 doubles. 

Transy finished last season with a 34-9 record and made it to their region championship game.  They are a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
