Coach Helsel works primarily with the pitchers and catchers and brings an abundance of enthusiasm to the program.  The 2022-23 season will mark her 8th year as an assistant. 

She is a graduate of Carmi-White County High School and continued her career at OCC, graduating in 2010.  During her time in Olney,  she was a two-time All Region XXIV player as well as All-GRAC honoree.  Her accomplishments are scattered throughout the softball program's record books, and in 2010 she was ranked in the top 20 in the nation in RBI with 52. 

Teddi also excelled in the classroom at OCC, earning Academic All American status in 2010.
